Every great European needs its own athletic sneaker giant, and Reebok is Great Britain's. Rooted in the late 19th century when the founder J.W. Foster designed the world's first spiked running shoe. The name Reebok was introduced in 1958 by Foster's grandsons after the rhebok, a family of African antelopes. Reebok has remained forward-thinking, launching the world's first dedicated athletic shoe for women in 1982 among other milestones. We focus on the classic Reebok models from the 1980s-1990s.
